Food Delivery Service Made Faster By Used IBM Servers
Monday, March 28th, 2011I have a small restaurant business which relies a lot on fast and accurate food delivery around my neighborhood. It wasn’t a problem before when there was still no internet but today pretty much everything is done using the web including ordering food.
And so I needed to upgrade my system which required putting a network server in place to relay orders from one station to another to make things move faster. Good thing I found a company that supplied used IBM iSeries servers and offered to sell me one for a very affordable price. I admit at first I was hesitant because it was refurbished but upon assuring me of the quality workmanship they put in, I decided to get one.
Today I’m very glad I bought used iSeries Servers because personally I don’t see any difference between using a brand new model and what I got. I saved a lot on my purchase plus I can call those guys anytime to help me fix it if the need arises which hasn’t yet so far.
